- Program combines study and paid work experience
- Student alternate terms of study and employment
- Enter after completing 50% of academic program at TRU
- Average monthly salaries range from C$2,400 - C$3,000 (up to C$4,000)
- Co-op office helps student to find placements in network of over 1,000 employers within Canada and globally
- Student applied for Co-op after completion of first year (first semester in some diploma programs)
- GPA determines acceptance
- If accepted to the program, the student must attend course COOP 1000 on resume writing and interviewing skills
- After completing COOP 1000 student can apply for jobs
- If successful, the student will start working in the fifth semester
